Styling Your Wedding Presents at Home: A Casual Tablescape with Luxury Wedding Planner Chenai Bukutu

Today, we share the final tablescape that we created in collaboration with our friend and luxury Wedding Planner, Chenai Bukutu. This tablescape is simple and fresh, perfect for balmy alfresco lunches. Featuring wedding presents chosen by Chenai form our London Showroom, read on to see how you can easily recreate this beautiful and relaxed tablescape at home, and see our top tips for some simple but all-important finishing touches.

The success of this tablescape comes from Chenai's vision of creating a neutral base on which she injected some tonal injections of colour. Starting with a beautiful white linen tablecloth and matching white napkins from The White Company, Chenai had a beautiful base to build from. White table linen is a brilliant wedding present, effortless timeless and the perfect blank canvas for creating any look, regardless of the season.

How to Style Your Tablescape

Chenai chose beautiful floral dinner plates from Gien. Handmade in France, these dinner plates are of exquisite quality and will last you a lifetime. Chenai matched the green of the dinner plates with some beautiful moss green glassware from La Rochere. With their iconic bee motif these glasses are perfect for summer lunching in the garden. Simple brass candlesticks from Nkuku added a soft touch to the table. We love these candlesticks, they are so versatile and always add a beautiful element of detail to any tablescape thanks to their fantastic ability to go with any candle colour. A brilliant wedding present you will use time and time again. If you want your tablescapes to feel more relaxed – small candlesticks like these are a great option. Keeping the look casual, Chenai opted for bud vases which she simply added some home-grown dahlias to, snipped fresh from the garden.
