Jesus Peiro 2020 Cala Collection Launch Party

A formidable collection of top wedding suppliers from London and the home counties came together to throw the ultimate party to celebrate the launch of this beautiful bridal collection for beautiful brides-to-be.

Inspired by the home of Jesus Peiro, Barcelona, our goal for the evening was to create a little slice of Catalan heaven in the Surrey countryside. The infamous and beautiful Miss Bush Bridal
chapel in Ripley, Surrey was converted into the sort of hidden plaça you might stumble across whilst meandering the beautiful streets of Barcelona. Food, drinks, music, florals, goody bags – you name it they all had a Spanish influence.

WPC were in charge of the goody bags – gifting is our thing after all! Brides-to-be were treating to our beautiful sweetpea and peony candles, our infamous luxe navy canvas shopper, a delicious Spanish-tile inspired biscuit from Dolly Dew Drops, a selection of must-have hair product from award winning Surrey wedding hairstylist Sharon Roberts, a gorgeous mini indoor plant from BloominGayles, a bespoke tshirt from Jesus Peiro and an incredible summer mix CD from super-DJ Spin Sisters.

Super-caterers Caper & Berry created a Spanish street food inspired canapé station, including cut to order jamon, gazpacho, smoked almonds, rosemary focaccia and Spanish tortilla. It was absolutely delicious and showcased perfectly how adaptable Caper & Berry can be to a specific theme or idea, without compromising on taste or quality.

Caper & Berry were also in charge of the alfresco cocktail bar – once again showcasing how easy it is to create a beautiful bar almost anywhere; ideal for a marquee wedding. Sangria, Prosecco and Spanish influenced cocktails flowed freely all night, served in beautiful glassware from Couvert – experts in wedding hire.

Surrey florist BloominGayles dressed the famous arch of the Miss Bush Bridal chapel in a beautiful Catalan/Gaudi inspired arrangement and created some breath-taking arrangements for the models in the salon-style fashion show, curated and hosted by Emma from Miss Bush Bridal to show off the new Jesus Peiro collection. The fashion show was split into looks, from lace to trousers to minimalism, highlighting the versatility of this stunning new bridal collection from Jesus Peiro.

Models looked absolutely beautiful thanks to dream team make-up artist Carolanne Armstrong⁠ and hair extraordinaire Sharon Roberts. Natural, beautiful, classic, timeless are all words that spring to mind. New luxury cotton pyjama brand Made Your Day ensured that the girls were perfectly comfortable as they prepared back stage.

Epic entertainment came from DJ Spin Sisters – Laura played a perfectly cool wedding playlist which included house remixes of all the classics ensuring that everyone was happy on the dancefloor. We were all treated to a live set from Georgia Meek (who’s stunning voice and beautiful songs were recently featured on Love Island). Boomerang Booth gave us all countless laughing fits with their ingenious photobooth. Requiring minimal space and no power source – this is the perfect photobooth for your wedding.

The night was photographed by expert wedding photographer Juliet McKee and captured on film by wedding videographers, Musk Photography and Films. We can’t wait to see the full edit from both! Emma Joy, a superb wedding planner, coordinated the night with military precision!
