They donate 10% of all profits to provide transport for the weavers' children to get to school so that they don't have to walk 10km in 40C heat. 

The baskets are weaved from sustainable ndiorohk grasses intertwined with long strips of salvaged plastic traditionally used for making bazin mats, similar to prayer mats.

Canvas Home strive to use materials that are sustainably sourced including reclaimed wood, recycled glass and fast growing bamboo fibers. They also donate 10% of their profits to organizations supporting artisan groups.
