A lockdown Valentines Day is the perfect excuse to create a beautiful tablescape at home. Creating a special tablescape doesn't have to be scary or overwhelming. If you have special China, great! Now's the time to dust it off! However, if like most of us, you have one set of go-to china, cutlery and glassware that is perfect too. You can create a special look simply by elevating your choice of candles, tablelinen and flowers.
It's no secret that we are huge fans of bud vases scattered along a table, interspersed with candles. Bud vases make your flowers go that much further and by having different heights of candles (taper and votives) you can create a really eyecatching look. Look to tie the colour of your candles in with your flowers or you tablelinen for a cohesive look.
If you really want to push the boat out, why not think about some name placecards? Our go-to modern calligrapher ERA Calligraphy has created these beautiful Modern Calligraphy Kits. A perfect lockdown activity and a really special finishing touch to your table.
