A night of wedding inspiration, cocktails, champagne and canapés in our London Showroom
Last week we opened the doors of our lovely King’s Road showroom to over 100 loved up couples and bride tribes alike for our annual Wedding Fair.
In it’s third year, our wedding fairs are building a name for themselves as a must-visit event for those looking for luxe inspiration for their wedding. Playing host to a whole range of sought-after pop-ups from some of the best suppliers in the industry – with each offering bridal advice and wedding services for every aspect for your wedding day.
Every supplier was hand-picked by The Wedding Present Company team for their brilliant quality, craftsmanship and service.
The incredible Charlotte from Wildwood London transformed the entrance of the showroom with a showstopping floral arch, adorned with stunning hydrangeas, roses and wild greenery. It was so beautiful and truly set the tone for the evening.
Guests were greeted at the door with an envy-inducing goody bag, with gifts from the likes of Jo Malone, LSA, Le Creuset and The White Company. More treats followed as they approached the WPC bar, where complimentary Champagne from Laithwaites and bespoke cocktails from wedding bar and cocktail specialists Mix Masters UK flowed freely all night.
A sweet fix came from the incredibly talented Poppy from The Hazlebury Kitchen with her jaw dropping wedding cakes. All handmade from her London kitchen, Poppy produces stunning (and bloody delicious) wedding cakes and favours, all of which are completely bespoke. She also specialises in gluten free, vegan and unrefined sugar options - you’d never know they didn’t use the traditional cake ingredients. Genius.
Over in the sitting room, our esteemed travel partners Original Travel were giving everyone serious wanderlust with their tailor-made and bespoke Honeymoon service. From New Zealand to Argentina to Bali, a honeymoon with Original Travel is like no other. Plus, mention WPC when booking and you get a whole host of goodies thrown in – what’s not to love? Stationary needs were covered by amazing calligrapher Alice Gabb and luxury printers Chelsea Fine Stationary. From bespoke calligraphy and invite design to paper weight and wording advice both bought an extensive collection of samples for couples for browse through
Remembering your big day and all the little details is so important, so we called upon the incredible Richard Greenly Photography and Voop Weddings – leaders in their fields of wedding photography and wedding videography. Couples could browse through wedding albums and watch wedding videos getting inspiration and asking any burning questions about their wedding photos or videos. Here at WPC we are huge fans of both Richard Greenly and Voop – wedding video Friday is a thing in the showroom!
Head upstairs, where couples were met with the most incredible display of delicious canapés you have ever seen from the infamous Two Many Cooks. Specialising in wedding and party catering, Two Many Cooks are renowned for their outstandingly delicious food, absolutely stunning presentation and seriously professional staff. Our kitchen has never looked, or tasted, so good!
Accompanying Two Many Cooks was a very special wine tasting station from Laithwaites, where couples could sample various reds and whites. Laithwaites offer a dedicated wedding wine service in their stunning converted railway arch shop in Borough Market where they help you to choose wine to match your wedding breakfast. Definitely one of our favourite parts of wedmin!
Our bedroom was a bride’s dream – with breathtaking wedding dresses from award-winning bridal designer Louise Selby, seriously gorgeous bridesmaids dresses from Maids to Measure AND complimentary hand and arm massages from Jo Malone.
A huge thank-you to all our incredible suppliers for their time and generosity, and for making our third wedding fair the best one yet!
