Read on to find out their favourite wedding gifts and the newlyweds’ sage advice to couples!
Having a dedicated person to walk us through the process who was on hand to answer any questions from start to finish. Thank you to Katie Stothard for being there to help us with our multiple questions!
Le Creuset, Culinary Concepts, KitchenAid, Club Matters, Oka, Wicklewood, The Oak & Rope Company, the list goes on!
You came highly recommended to me for the ease, flexibility you offer, as well as the varied, high-end brands you work with.
We were living in California at the time (2019). We planned to go to Hawaii for a long weekend with some of our friends. After a lovely day at the beach, Joey suggested we go for a short bike ride to watch the sunset. We ended up on a golf course overlooking the sea, where he got down on one knee and popped the question! We then went back to our friends with our news and popped plenty of bubbles for the rest of the evening!
A traditional, intimate country wedding.
Originally we asked DP Marquees for a marquee at home, but then due to COVID restrictions, we moved to a lovely venue: Brympton House in Somerset. Both suppliers were superb.
We had our flowers from the church on the table with our own place settings, ivy, ribbons and home made honey to decorate.
My parents-in-laws’ red Citroën 2cv!
My dress and hair accessories were from BHLDN Weddings (part of Anthropologie in the US) and my shoes were by Bella Belle. I borrowed my sister’s veil and I wore my grandmother’s jewellery.
Joey wore his own morning suit. His waistcoat was by SirPlus and his tie was from Vineyard Vines. His socks and Ushers’ gifts were from Morrow’s Outfitters.
The Maid of Honour wore a dress from ASOS. Her earrings were from Wolf & Badger.
Sage with Zest provided our catering.

Saying our vows in the wedding service in our local church. Driving away from the church waving goodbye in the red 2cv car (being chauffeured by my brother). Having our wedding breakfast with our 13 family and friends in the beautiful grounds at Brympton House on a glorious sunny day alongside an impromptu game of Kubb on the lawn! But one of the most standout moments was having our first dance to Eric Clapton- Wonderful Tonight under the moon light, next to a cosy bonfire.
Try not to get too bogged down in the minor details, enjoy the process of planning your special day as well as having the time of your lives on the day itself - it goes so quickly!
