Care Instructions: Before its first use, wash the pan with warm, soapy water, then condition the non-stick surface with vegetable or corn oil to enhance its longevity. Always use Le Creuset Silicone Tools or wooden/heat-resistant plastic tools to protect the non-stick surface from damage, and avoid high heat that may damage the surface. For optimal results, use the appropriately sized hob ring and cook on medium to low heat, gradually warming the pan for even cooking. Cleaning should be done with warm, soapy water by hand to prolong the life of the non-stick coating; avoid harsh scrubbers or abrasive cleaners.
