The Grid Wood veneer has been created by the Swedish design studio Front. Grid is a veneer based on an ancient pattern that creates the illusion of a grid structure.

Four different toned woods are joined together as a block, then thin layers of veneer are planed off to create the veneer.

The result catches the light and gives a sense of depth to the flat surface.
