Based in the Kent seaside town of Ramsgate, I create and produce ceramics and interior objects.  British seaside landscapes, the history of London, Greek mythology, Italian kitsch decoration, East end markets and British vegetable growing culture inspire and inform my imagery and exploration of design, resulting in a healthy obsession with columns, peas and seashells. My hand-crafted ceramics are objects of empowerment, designed to evoke nostalgia and strength, whilst focusing on classical design.

<p>Made in the United Kingdom by Minnie-Mae Studio, the Venus Shell Bowl in Oxide Blue draws on classical mythology for its distinctive form. Inspired by the shell that bore Venus from the sea, this serving bowl carries a sculptural presence that sits as comfortably on a sideboard as at the centre of a shared table. Its organic silhouette lends character to both informal suppers and more considered gatherings. A piece rooted in narrative and studio craft, it brings a quiet sense of occasion to the everyday.</p>
