Based in the Kent seaside town of Ramsgate, I create and produce ceramics and interior objects.  British seaside landscapes, the history of London, Greek mythology, Italian kitsch decoration, East end markets and British vegetable growing culture inspire and inform my imagery and exploration of design, resulting in a healthy obsession with columns, peas and seashells. My hand-crafted ceramics are objects of empowerment, designed to evoke nostalgia and strength, whilst focusing on classical design.

<p>Handcrafted in the United Kingdom by Minnie-Mae Studio, the Willow Bough Platter in Green draws its botanical pattern from William Morris&#x27; original wallpaper of the same name. The flowing design captures the quiet interplay of light filtering through garden foliage, lending a pastoral mood to the table. Finished in green, the platter honours a long tradition of Morris-inspired decorative ceramics, sitting as comfortably among dishes at a relaxed gathering as it does displayed on a wall between uses.</p>
