Based in the Kent seaside town of Ramsgate, I create and produce ceramics and interior objects.  British seaside landscapes, the history of London, Greek mythology, Italian kitsch decoration, East end markets and British vegetable growing culture inspire and inform my imagery and exploration of design, resulting in a healthy obsession with columns, peas and seashells. My hand-crafted ceramics are objects of empowerment, designed to evoke nostalgia and strength, whilst focusing on classical design.

<p>Made in the United Kingdom by Minnie-Mae Studio, the Tomato Bowl in Red takes its name and its form from the humble tomato, translating that familiar, rounded shape into a piece of tableware with real character. The design is at once playful and considered: bold enough to stand alone as a point of interest on open shelving, yet functional enough for daily use at the table. Its organic lines make it a natural companion for other distinctive pieces, though it holds its own just as well among more understated settings.</p>
