Made in the Drome region of southern France by Jars Ceramistes, the Village Vert Pitcher, Vert draws on a deep tradition of ceramic craft. Generous lines and a bold handle lend the pitcher a distinctive presence at the table, shaped as much for expression as for pouring. Each piece is formed entirely by hand, with glazes ladled on to create variations in tone and texture so that no two are quite alike. Placed at the centre of a dining table or used as a decorative accent, the pitcher brings a sense of heritage and individuality to the home.
