What was the highlight of your experience with The Wedding Present Company?

Ailsa Reeve Photography

We really enjoyed our visit to The Wedding Present Company showroom in London. It was so exciting receiving notifications of gifts when they were purchased by our friends and family, and we loved receiving the messages that our loved ones had added to the gifts, it was so special.

What were your favourite brands available at The Wedding Present Company?

Burleigh

Riedel, Burleigh and Pooky were stand out brands for us, but we loved all the brands available for our wedding gift list through The Wedding Present Company.

Why did you choose The Wedding Present Company for your wedding list?

Engagement Story

Ailsa Reeve Photography

Nick intended to propose in the Lake District, where we got married, but unfortunately, Covid put a curve ball in his plans. He therefore proposed during lockdown, at home, after cooking a beautiful supper, which was very lovely and intimate.

Theme for Your Wedding

We didn’t have a set theme for our special day, but we went with a spring garden marquee wedding, surrounded by flowers, which was perfect. Our colour palette was focused around sage green, neutrals and white. We just went for a traditional English wedding, and all we really wanted was for our guests to have a fun and joyful day!

We hired items from Narrative Hire but I (Hope) did the styling. I really enjoyed styling my own wedding as it meant that everything was exactly how I wanted!

Original Marquees – we actually discovered The Wedding Present Company at an open day hosted by Original Marquees! The team at Original Marquees were amazing and our traditional pole wedding marquee was everything we had hoped for.
